1. Set Up a Solarize Committee: 3-5 Dedicated people
2. Name Your Campaign + Create Logo (Solarize ….)
3. Decide Length of Campaign (e.g. 3 months, ongoing)
4. Finalize Pricing/Discounts
5. Plan and Advertise your Solarize Kickoff Event (Create Posters/Infosheets)
6. Host Solarize Kickoff Event – Free Food + Education from Solar States
7. Sales Reps meet with Leads – show them Customized Proposals for their homes/businesses with Solarize Pricing and Branding
8. Plan other Solarize events – Educational workshops, Solar Open Houses, etc
9. Partner w/ Local organizations/businesses/institutions to promote the Solarize
10. Media Blitz – Near the end of Solarize promote it heavily – get media attention, use social media, email blasts,
11. Close the Campaign – Close all existing Opportunities – Tally the Contracts
12. Celebrate! – Plan an event marking the end of Solarize

1. Set Up a Solarize Committee

At least 3-5 Dedicated people – a successful campaign will likely take 10-15 organizers

2. Name your campaign and create a logo

Solarize Philly, Solarize Greater Media, Northwest Philly Solar Cooperative, Hunting Park Community Solar Initiative – the choice is yours!

3. Decide length of campaign

(e.g. 3 months) – start date, last date to sign contracts to get Solarize pricing/benefits

4. Finalize price, discounts, and / or donations

Many Solarize campaigns offer discounted pricing for participants. Others offer Referral Bonuses or Donations to non-profits or community organizations for each Lead or Contract signed.

5. Plan and Advertise a Solarize Kickoff Event

Create Posters and Infosheets.

6. Host Solarize Kickoff Event

Free Food + Education from Solar States!

7. Sales reps meet with leads

Reps show them Customized Proposals for their homes/businesses with Solarize Pricing and Branding.

8. Plan other Solarize events

Educational workshops, Solar Open Houses, Webinars, table at local events, etc.

9. Partner with local organizations / businesses / institutions

Promote the solarize at libraries, schools, churches, and through community groups.

10. Media blitz

Near the end of Solarize promote it heavily – get media attention, use social media, email blasts, community groups, etc

11. Close the campaign

Close all existing Opportunities – tally the Contracts, pay out Referral bonuses, and get clients installed!

12. Celebrate!

Plan an event marking the end of Solarize!
