Track your installation’s progress and monitor system production in the Solar States web portal. The portal also allows you to leave referrals ($500 bonus!), open support tickets, and view essential documents. There are two different views in the portal: what you see prior to your installation’s completion is different from what you’ll see after.

Pre-installation view

Once your contract is signed and finalized, you will receive an e-mail notification to create a password in the portal. The Subject Line of this e-mail will be: [Solar States] Customer Portal Login Details. If you did not receive this e-mail, please message help@solar-states.com and we will get you set up. Once you follow the link to create a password and log in, your home page will show every stage of the installation, as well as each stage’s accompanying steps. A yellow checkbox marks any completed stage. A yellow box with a scrolling icon displays the step in progress. A gray step is incomplete. Click ahead to any step to explore what’s to come.

Post-installation view

Once your project is complete, your home page will show usage data, environmental benefits, and system production data by day, month, year, or system lifetime. A graphic at the bottom of the screen displays a snapshot of your system. View essential documents in the Documents tab. Open a support ticket or view FAQ in the Support tab. Make a referral or leave a review in the Referral tab, and edit your account information in the Profile tab.

How to reset your password, and other FAQ

How do I reset my password?

  1. Log in.
  2. From the Home Screen, select the Profile tab in the menu.
  3. Scroll down a bit to find Reset Your Password, and click that button.
  4. Check the e-mail listed on your account for a link that will enable you to reset your password.

I never received a welcome e-mail.

If you did not receive a welcome e-mail asking you to set a password for your account, reach out to us with the form at the bottom of this page or e-mail help@solar-states.com.

How do I change the e-mail on my account?

  1. Log in.
  2. From the Home Screen, select the Profile tab in the menu.
  3. In the second box, you will find a button to Edit Settings. Click that, and you can change the e-mail that is listed on your account.
