Host a Solar Open House
What is a Solar Open House?
An Open House is a fun way for solar owners to drive solar forward in their communities. The Open House is a small get-together in your home where friends and neighbors can learn about how solar would work for them. Guests get to see your panels and monitoring, and Solar States will attend to speak a bit about all things solar. We’ll also provide light fare – wine and cheese – and some handouts for guests to take home.
How does it work?
- You invite friends and neighbors to your home at a convenient date and time.
- On the night of the event, Solar States arrives with wine, cheese, and educational handouts.
- We’ll all spend a couple of hours enjoying one another’s company and learning everything about solar. You don’t have to, but some hosts like to show off their bill and monitoring platform.
- At the end of the event, everybody leaves a bit more informed, and you’ve done your part to promote solar in your community.
Plus, Referrals
Any customers that signs on for solar after attending your open house counts as a referral for you – that’s $500 for every job.
