Frankford High School has a BRAND NEW SOLAR LAB!

Students at Frankford High School are now eligible to take part in the Bright Solar Futures program. “The 3-year program will train students to install solar panels and make buildings more energy efficient to reduce homes’ utility bills and take action on climate change.” Solar States has helped with the curriculum and teaching the students involved so far, and we’re thrilled to see this Lab off the ground! Big shoutout to all who made this possible – PECO, Philadelphia Energy Authority, The School District of Philadelphia, Milwaukee Tools (donated all of the tools for the lab), the teacher Mr. Crolly, and more.
