Find Your Power
Find Your Power is an 8-week solar training program designed for individuals in high-risk areas looking to build a career they can take pride in. Funded by the City of Philadelphia’s Anti-Violence Community Partnership Grants program and the Community Expansion Grant, this program provides hands-on training, career support, and direct pathways into the growing solar industry.
Program Benefits:
Cohort 3’s eight (8) week evening-based cohort program, will be located in North Philadelphia at Solar States’ Warehouse and Training Center, making it accessible for those balancing other responsibilities. Participants will gain real-world skills in solar installation and leave fully equipped to start a career in the industry. Must be 18 or older to apply.

Schedule
Training: April 20, 2026 – June 12, 2026 (5pm–8pm, M–F)
Internship: June 22, 2026 – July [date TBD], 2026 (24–40 hours/week)
We are solar installers and educators based in Olde Kensington, Philadelphia. Our company was founded in 2008 with a dual-mission to educate AND install. For education, we partner with organizations like PowerCorps PHL and Philadelphia OIC to provide free training opportunities to any Philadelphian who wants to join the Green Collar Economy. For installations, we install solar systems and batteries on homes, businesses, and non-profits across the region.
