2021 in Review
- Installed 50 projects on LMI households through the Solar Savings Grant Program! This program was made possible by The Philadelphia Energy Authority.
- Grew our dedicated service team. We are now members of the Amicus O&M Cooperative!
- Selected for Solarize Philly Phase 5!
- Helped to create the Solarize MontCo program, a project of Solarize Southeast PA.
- Supported the growth of the Hunting Park Community Solar Initiative and participated in 6 Community Education forums in Hunting Park!
- Helped build a new solar classroom and solar training program at Vocatio (a Vocational school in Hunting Park).
- Installed a residential system alongside Eagles legend Connor Barwin (below)!
- Completed our Bright Solar Futures CTE curriculum, over 1,000 hours of high school hands-on solar training. The BSF curriculum will be rolled out nationally for free!
- Unveiled the Frankford High School Solar Lab with PECO, The Philadelphia Energy Authority, and other partners!
- The Crane Arts installation passed 1 MILLION kWh (1 GIGAWATT) produced!
- Chilled out under the multiple solar canopies we built (see two below)
- Developed the design + interconnection starter contract approach and started eight of them.
- Won TWO Green Building United Groundbreaker awards – Community Choice for Micah Gold-Markel and Groundbreaker Project for the Yards / SONO project!
