Find Your Ladder
Find Your Ladder is a solar training program for justice-involved or Philadelphians seeking re-entry. This program provides support through a grant catering to 18-30 year old adults in Philadelphia with criminal justice involvement.
The 8-week course, hosted in our Olde Richmond warehouse at 2751 E. Juniata Street, teaches you the skills you need to begin your career in solar energy. Benefits include $15 per hour paid training, Free SEPTA passes to get to and from the program, and guaranteed OSHA-30 Certification with program completion. You will come out job ready. Who is Solar States?
We are solar installers and educators based in Olde Kensington, Philadelphia. Our company was founded in 2008 with a dual-mission to educate AND install. For education, we partner with organizations like PowerCorps PHL and Philadelphia OIC to provide free training opportunities to any Philadelphian who wants to join the Green Collar Economy. For installations, we install solar systems and batteries on homes, businesses, and non-profits across the region.
