January 2016 | Serenity Soular & Re-Volv


Serenity House is a community outreach center of Arch Street United Methodist Church, based in North Philadelphia.  One of the projects rooted at Serenity House is called Serenity Soular, which aims to build the green economy in North Philadelphia and train residents in solar installations.

A community lender that promotes economic expansion by investments, consultation services, and homeownership counseling.  Finanta, went solar with an steel enforced raised solar array structure, a eye catching solar installation in Philadelphia, PA.

Folsom Powerhouse was designed and made as a modern living location with solar energy integrated into the design made by Post Green Homes.

December 2013 | Founding PSSI


Solar States founded Philadelphia Solar Schools Initiative (PSSI), in 2013.


  • Maximize the educational openings each solar installation affords and create long-term learning opportunities for Philadelphia students.
  • Install 1.5 MW(5,000 solar panels) of solar capacity on the rooftops of Philadelphia area schools.
  • Deploy $3.5M locally to create green jobs.

June 2014 | The Enterprise Research Center


The Enterprise Research Center, solar installation was our first urban garden solar and battery back project in Philadelphia, PA.

January 2014 | Solar Philly


Solar States was selected as one of the lead installers for Solar Philly.

Program setup by the Sustainable Business Network, Clean Air Council and local solar installers Exact Solar and Solar States, united Philadelphia homeowners and a city-wide community organizers to reduce the cost of getting solar and to meet the city’s solar energy goals outlined in the Green Works Plan.

Crane Arts, houses countless studios and arts organizations, the space also feature events and galleries, such as the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center.  The Crane, creatively set forth, to get a solar installation to cover 55% of the buildings entire energy needs.
